Yoga Classes

Classes are for all levels of yoga practitioner.  All are welcome and encouraged to come as they are, listen to their bodies and take what they need from each class.

All Classes are heated with Infrared Heat Panels.  Infrared heats differently so we don't need as high of temperatures to gain the benefits. Our classes feel less like a sauna and more like a wonderful warm summer day.

Benefits of Infrared Heat: 

-Boost metabolism/breakdown of fat
-Conditions the cardiovascular system
-Detoxifying sweat
-Improves flexibility/ joint comfort
-Improves circulation/reduces cellulite
-Aides relaxation and ability to manage stress

Gently Heated ranges from 85-95 degrees and Hot classes range from 90-100 degrees. The weather outside and the number of people in the room will affect the temperature so there will be a range.

To prepare for class, students are encouraged to drink plenty of water and avoid eating 2-3 hours prior to class.  For class, wear comfortable, form fitting clothes that are easy to move in and bring a yoga mat, towel and water bottle to class with you.  If you don't have these yoga accessories, we also sell these items in our boutique prior to class.

Hot Vinyasa Flow

Hot Vinyasa Flow classes focus on flowing from pose to pose, linking movement with breath. Classes are often built around Sun Salutations done with creative sequencing. You can gain many wonderful benefits including; increased endurance, stamina, strength, and flexibility, in addition to calming the mind. All levels are Welcome!

Gently Heated Vinyasa Flow

Class format is the same as our Hot Vinyasa Flow class; flowing from pose to pose, linking movement with breath. Temperatures are lower, often 85-95 degrees. Classes are still built around Sun Salutations done with creative sequencing. You can gain many wonderful benefits including; increased endurance, stamina, strength, and flexibility, in addition to calming the mind. All levels are Welcome!

Hot Slow Flow

Like our Hot Vinyasa Flow, these classes focus on flowing from pose to pose, linking movement with breath. The pace is meditative, emphasizing peace and calm in body and mind. We hold poses longer, taking several rounds of breath in each pose, instead of moving to each breath. All levels are Welcome!

Yoga for Beginners

Welcome Yoga Newcomers! Join us for this beginner's introduction to yoga, provided monthly. This unheated class follows the vinyasa flow style but takes time to ease into practice with a relaxing warm-up focused on breathing, stretching, and calming the mind. Time is spent on pose fundamentals and safely transitioning in and out of poses. Demonstrations, modifications, and hands-on assistance (when desired) are provided. Class ends with a slow cool down and guided meditation. No experience is necessary.
